Warrak is a small tree or shrub with dark-grey bark and oblong shaped green leaves that grows from 1 to 6 metres tall.
The Wurundjeri-woiwurrung drink the nectar from the cones or mix it with water to drink. When dry, the cones can be used as a strainer.
It grows well in coastal or inland environments in well drained soil. It can grow in full sun to semi shade.
