Minamberang

Austral Clematis

Clematis aristata

Minamberang is a climbing plant which climbs up to and possibly exceeds 15 metres. It flowers from October to November, producing white, four-pointed star shaped flowers, which in numbers look almost hairy in appearance.

Its roots were likely eaten by the Wurundjeri-woiwurrung.

It grows in well drained to moist soils in semi to full shade.
