Bursaria spinosa
Garwan is a shrub which grows from 2 to 6 metres tall and is characterised by its spines and white clusters of flowers which bloom from December to March.
Its flowers are gathered by the Wurundjeri-woiwurrung for their sweet nectar.
Garwan grows best in well drained to moist soil in full sun to semi shade.
