Baik is a lily with yellow star shaped flowers which grows from 20 to 50 centimetres tall. It flowers from September to January.

Its bulbs are cooked and eaten by the Wurundjeri-woiwurrung.

Grows in moist heavy soil in full sun to semi-shade.
